The Story Keepers @ Kabini

“What is life, if not froth and bubbles?” – Adam Lindsay Gordon

Imagine waking up at the crack of dawn and walking into another dimension – another world if you will. Where the wild rise from their slumber and walk on the very earth you stand on. As the dawn gives way to the morning lights and chirping, a pastoral tribe guides their cattle towards grasslands. As you step back for a sense of familiarity, a majestic dam showcases the confluence of ancient with the modern. Is this some sort of a bubble? Or were you living in one?

This weekend, we take you along the Kabani river. Once a private hunting area for the British, the fertile Kabini today is a small part of the Nagarhole Wildlife Sanctuary, teeming with a rich variety of flora and fauna. In these jungles, life beats to the rhythms of nature who unfolds her secrets one page at a time.

Not your story, if you:
Prefer city lights to nature
Are scared of wildlife
Don’t think sunsets in a boat are amazing

Come off, if you:
Love an offbeat experience
Would like to spend a weekend along some lovely backwaters
Love listening to stories
