Paddle Pop @ Udupi

“We may have all come on different ships, but we’re in the same boat now. ” – Martin Luther King, Jr.

Lying amidst the Arabian Sea and the Western Ghats, the Udupi district also is the land of some of the most beautiful, serene beaches and rivers. With breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, the beaches and rivers during this time of the year are bustling centres of activities. One of such activities is Kayaking – a specialised technique of moving in a low-to-the-water, canoe-like boat called Kayak with the help of a paddle. Interestingly, Kayaking as a form of transportation was earliest used by the Eskimos of the Northern Arctic Region thousands of years ago!

This weekend, we have some unbridled fun! We find the child in ourselves and feed them some ice-cream for the soul. Strap on your seatbelt and get your life-jackets on for paddle pop!

Not in our boat, if you:
You prefer city lights to nature
Are hydrophobic (no seriously, we mean this one)
Prefer your weekends to be as manicured as your weekdays

Come off, if you:
Love an offbeat experience
Would love to learn a new skill (or some mean abs)
Have forgotten how much fun it is to be a child
